Film Items Up for (Silent) Auction - Arizona Production Assc

An APA NewsGram - May 6, 2008
****************************************
Dear APA Member/Industry Professional:
Benefit Includes Silent Auction of FILM Items
Durant Communications makes a tremendous contribution to the theatre community by providing audition and class information, "Starving Actor" theatre discounts, etc. Most information is free of charge. Doug Durant has been quietly battling leukemia for the past three years. After his most recent round of chemotherapy, he developed serious infection and was hospitalized. In spite of insurance, medical expenses continue to mount.
D&D & Company is having a benefit for the Durants this Saturday, May 10, 2008. The evening includes a Silent Auction, a performance of "1950's Malt Shop Revisited" and a reception. Valley Youth Theater is generously providing the theater, and the show, produced and directed by Donna DeCarl, stars 19 local actors and recently ran for three sold-out weeks at the Herberger Lunchtime Theater.
Some of the Silent Auction items are specific to the film industry (i.e. CAMERA RENTALS), so this is a great opportunity for YOU to help out AND pick up some production services at a reduced rate. (And we hear the show is really good, too!)
Here's the info on attending:

THANK YOU!
