Since the RED camera was announced in 2006, many in the HD video community have been embracing alternative format digital cameras. Tapeless, filmless, higher resolution cost effective cameras. But not everyone wanted or could handle the larger file sizes and the expensive workflow to manage the increased resolution. Could Panasonic have eclipsed the RED and even the very inexpensive DSLR cameras of today with the new AF100?
