The Centralcast Maintenance Engineer repairs, maintains and installs mechanical and electronic equipment within the KPHO and Phoenix Centralcast Hub facilities. This position provides operational support to the Phoenix Centralcast Hub in addition to KPHO. The Maintenance Engineer repairs electronic equipment generally associated with a broadcast television station. The position configures, maintains, operates and repairs TCP/IP networking hardware, software and systems associated with the broadcast plant. In addition, the incumbent may, from time to time, be involved in systems design for new installations or reconfiguration projects. The Centralcast Maintenance Engineer frequently works with other non-technical members of the station staff and must show appropriate comportment and customer service attitude in those interactions. |
